Things have been pretty slow the last few days. Got nothing to do. Nothing at all. Even less than I did when I made vidblog 4. I kind of feel like my online cartoon hero Odd Todd, except I actually have 'monay' since I sort of have a job. I've just been surfing the net almost constantly looking for weird stuff. I found this Japanese style dating sim called Ganguro Girl 1.5, but haven't got around to playing it yet. It's much like Hugh's Dead or Alive Beach Volleyball game, but without the volleyball part. Japanese teachers are given about a week off in the summer to take as vacation. For some dumb reason JET teachers are forced to 'work' instead. Some schools let their ALT go home early in the summer to make up for this. The previous JET in my job, Kylie, apparently was allowed to hanko in the morning and go home. I asked our new kyoto sensei if I can do the same. He said it was fine if I left early, except his idea of early is leaving at 3:30 instead of my usual 3:45. Yeah, thanks for nothing. Worst of all, there is a big sign in front of my desk explaining that for some reason internet access will be cut off for most of the summer. So far, so good, but now I must live with the constant fear that I will lose my only source of amusement at any given moment. At any rate, you can expect my next video to feature me going stir crazy and bouncing off the walls.
