Life Imitating Art?

Luke Elliot posted a funny story about hunting monkeys on his site that I would recommend checking out. Luke, if you ever return home to Canada I think there might be some work for you up north clubbing baby seals.

While I'm posting about other JET blogs, Luke Elliot's arch nemesis Luke Winn also posted something interesting recently. Apparently (and not altogether surprisingly) he has become a big hit in Japan's gay community. Hopefully Luke's various attempts to sexually molest me will help expand my otaku/Japanophile fanbase into the lucrative gay community.

I'm sure if you did a thorough search of the net, Jamie, you'd find your own picture on some seedy chat list together with some stomach-churning comments about those cheeks of yours.

While I'd almost certainly be flattered if that were true, I doubt I'll find anything like that. I can see from my site stats where my visitors are coming from, and I have yet to see any links to this site show up on any "seedy chat lists". I think your problem of what to do after JET might finally be solved Luke, and all you have to do is embrace your new gay following in Japan.

Hey Jamie, I should get you to edit all of my photos! Indeed, life imitating art . . . I'm beginning to think that ANYTHING can happen up here in the Shimokita. It's pretty surreal up here and will become even more so when I begin haunting the Yagen valley under the full moon on summer nights :o
