I better get over to Rokkasho right away and collect some "Future site of ITER" signs before they are all gone. Sorry Rokkasho, but I guess you'll have to find a different expensive and potentially catastrophic project to add to your collection.

Update: Here's a better article explaining what this is all about.

I learned of this a couple months back, actually, from the French people in my town that work for the project. But, we still get to do research!

I suggest snagging some of the signs off of the 338 going towards Misawa. :)

Thanks for the tip Brad.

Seth, yeah that was for popcorn and there were dozens of other such lines all over the park and each of the popcorn stands. I just don't get it. It was like that 4 years ago too when I went to Tokyo Disney for the first time.

Sorry for depriving Japan of this wonderful thermonuclear adventure but its much better off in France especially as it is actually being built on a major sesmic fault line that runs through the south of France. Keep tuned for the Olympic bid for Paris next week. France is just one giant theme park. ps Lance says hi before starting his quest for an incredible 7th tour he'll miss you cheering him up the mountains;

And I'll miss knocking old ladies to the ground while scrambling for free key chains and sun visors tossed from the caravan that accompanies Lance up the mountain. Who knows, maybe next year!
