I just received the following interesting email regarding my old post about canned whale meat:
while google-ing for 'canned whale' i found your site. my girlfriend collects canned meat and i would love to suprise her with some canned whale, deer, seal, sealion, bear and wild boar. is there anyway we could
arrange for you to get some for me? i'm not even sure if the USA would allow them to be shipped in.

ps-here's my gf website www.pottedmeatmuseum.com
Sadly Scot, the hotel gift shop where I took the photo of the interesting canned meats was already sold out of them just a couple days later. While you certainly can buy interesting canned meats in Japan such things are even harder to find than foreign brands of food. Good luck in your ongoing quest for interesting canned meats. Your girlfriend's website is very cool indeed!
This got me to wondering what other interesting online museums I could find. There are lots of JET's with nothing to do over the summer vacation but sit in their office and surf the web, so here are some facinating online museums for you to enjoy.
