Happy Canadian Thanksgiving!

2005-10-11 | by Jamie | Categories: Deep Thoughts

Due to the great distance between me and my home and native land I didn't even realize that it was Thanksgiving Monday. Hope everyone back home is enjoying their turkeys, but I guess I'll have to make do with a Gusto Burger. There won't be any turkeys for sale in Noheji until Xmas time rolls around, and even then there's no guarantee. Fortunately Thanksgiving coincides with a Japanese holiday, so I didn't have to go to work Monday.

Also, I'd like to wish Noheji High School a happy 80th birthday. I'm not sure exactly on what date the school was born, but I had the privilege of going to work on Saturday to take in festivities (that is if you can call a bunch of boring speeches by old men festivities). Anyway, despite my long weekend not being quite as long as I would have liked it didn't stop Kate and I from having a good time. After the show we drove down to Hachinohe, then Ninohe, then to the cool crystal clear water Ryusendo caves and finally to Morioka before heading to Hirosaki. Sexy photos to come, stay tuned!

You'll have to just make do with a 1 kg bag of fries, turn them into mash potatoes and put some Bulldog sauce on to at least make it look like gravy. Swiss Chalet must be loosing a lot of revenue from your absences!
