Combining the subject matter of my last two posts, namely wrestling and poultry, I present to you "Hustle Chicken Curry"! Kate & I picked up this item in a Morioka liquor store of all places. Inexplicably it was the only food item for sale in the joint. While the pairing of pro-wrestling and chicken curry might seem a little odd, the connection seems due to the slogan "I'm chicken" that judo star turned wrestler Naoya Ogawa has for some reason chosen for himself. One has to wonder if this is part of some clever ruse to lull his opponents into a false sense of security, or just another sad case of Japanese T-shirt folly. Perhaps if I could read this post on the subject, I would be closer to an answer.
