I was browsing the DVD section at Hirosaki's Sakurano store yesterday and was shocked to discover this obscure Canadian low budget zombie movie. In the film, zombies start to take over the world and the only ones that can stop them are a bunch of masked Mexican wrestlers. I was tempted to buy the movie, even though DVDs here are region 2 and thus unplayable back home, but it cost over 50 bucks so resisted the urge. The film is the brain child of Stacey Case, who is also a member of the faux-Mexican wrestling masked band the Tijuauna Bibles, owns a punk rock T-shirt print shop, runs a pillow fighting league, and works for the infamous website NakedNews.com.
