When in Japan, Richard Gere stays at the Dandy House.
I had a couple of days to kill in Tokyo before my flight home, so I did my best to get in as much "wacky Japan" as I could before landing back in "boring Canada".

Kate & I had dinner at the Christon Cafe, a Christianity themed restaurant in Shinjuku. They always seem to seat the gaijin customers at the same tables right at the entrance to the place. Perhaps they think it adds some autheticity to the ambiance.
In Akihabara there are lots of "Make Your Own Robot" stores.
At the train station there was a special train shaped toilet for kids and short train otaku.

Finally it was time to head home, so I paid over $3000 and got me a ticket for a direct flight from Tokyo to Toronto. Instead of Friends reruns and bad movies, Air Canada's personal inflight entertainment only had one show available: cushion.
