Noheji in the News

10/30/03 | by Jamie | Categories: Deep Thoughts

Noheji was all over the national news today as a student in one of my second year classes was almost kidnapped! Some dude drove up along side her in his car and grabbed her right off the street. Apparently some passerby noticed and yelled out, so the kidnapper let the girl go. This is the second attempted kidnapping in as many days in the area.. and by apparently different kidnappers too. Very weird indeed. Bellow is a photo of a news crew that came to school today to interview my principal, Mr. Takenaka.

name saddam husseincomment After years and years of research, the ultimate weapon of mass destruction is about to be launched on mankind (not mick foley, but the real one); auntie annie has been certified as a licenced taxi driver in France. Beware and tell all your friends never to set foot in this country of frog eating surrender monkeys. A trip with her (as you may know) is worse than any thrill park ride in the world. I'm still waiting for news about my impending trip to Japan as it is the only place in the world safe from the maurading chauffeur. Ta Ta

jamieYou and Aunt Annie are welcome in Japan anytime! Of course I'll be seeing you in April at the big wedding assuming it doesn't get called off before then. (just kidding Les if you are reading this)
You should tell Aunt Annie to hide a camera in her taxi like that American TV show 'Taxi Cab Confessions' does. That would undoubtably be the most entertaining television show ever made. Hours upon hours of people screaming for their lives as aunt Annie hurls insults at them at 180 km/hr.. or maybe she only does that to you. She would feel at home in Japan though. Asside from a few tanker trucks that always get in my way, most drivers here race at speeds far in excess of the ridiculously low speed limits. As for red lights.. nobody seems to believe in them either. The Japanese are super law abiding and polite until they get behind the wheel of a car.

BridezillaDo I understand you might have some french visitors in Japan? Be sure to take them to all the finest arcades! Hope you are doing OK poor Jamie, the wedding is still on, and Allan & I hope you can make it. I believe the bet is still on. Big news - Allan has a new job, and a tech start-up! Yes, apparently they still exist. He starts when we get back from Australia in December.
