I've just read R Ebert's review of this great classic and I think I'll give it a miss. I don't know where you are between Japan and heaven ie Toronto but i trust that modern technology will get this to you somehow. Why are you going to Toronto when you could have spent your holiday somewhere more exciting? Anyway, life is going down the tubes; Lance has probably had auto blood transfusions during the Tour de france for the last 5 years, G. Bush will probably be re_elected president, and my ex-family has sent no news for the last year. Fortunately big Al stopped by in Lyon overnight and I've caught up on the gossip. Katherine apparently has given up sailing to go to live in Viet Nam Leslie is pregnant (kidding) and your nerdy brother has sent no news. Tell him to rent a hotel in Hong Kong for 1 night and I'll pay for it. Give my best to the family and there's always a spare room here for anybody passing through.

Poor uncle Ken.. nobody tells you what is going on. I guess that's what happens when you run away to another country to teach English. Hope you and Annie are showing Big Al a good time. As for my vacation.. honestly I didn't want to use my vacation time to come home again so soon, but marriages keep demanding it.
