Remember the movie Snow Day? No? Don't worry, nobody does.
This post will likely interest nobody but myself, but I'm writing it anyway because I've got nothing better to do. I decided to stay at home all weekend and do nothing instead of participating in the AJET Iwaki climb or any of the many other activities going on. I had enough fun last weekend anyway. As some of you know, when I was in highschool I worked at a theme park in Toronto called Paramount Canada's Wonderland. I've always been a bit of a roller coaster nerd and have visited all the Disney parks and have ridden some of the highest and fastest coasters in the world. When Paramount took over Toronto's local theme park maybe 15 years ago the place really went down the crapper as they themed all their rides to bad Paramount movies. The new ride concepts they dream up never make any sense and are always built on the cheap. I just foud this online survey by Paramount Parks asking people to help them decide on what new ride concept to build next. My favorite has to be 'Snow Day' based on the long forgotten Chevy Chase / Chris Elliott movie of the same name, where you get to play with snow.... in SUMMER! Wow, that's definately worth the $50 park admission. I know Canadians are dying to pay money to play with snow!
