Have you ever wanted to know what a train ride from Noheji to Asamushi is like, but couldn't afford the time and money to fly all the way here to find out? Well now you can from the comfort of your computer desk.

Some Japanese train otaku has created this remarkable site with lengthy videos of nothing more than the view out the window of numerous Japanese trains. If that wasn't enough the site also lets you put together puzzles of your favorite trains! Japanese train otaku must be the most hardcore of all the world's train fans. I have to wonder if the problem of Japan's declining birth rate would be easily solved if only Japanese women were somehow more train-like.

While we're on the subject of trains, I recentally decided to carry on the model train collecting legacy left to me by my father, and his father before him, and have started my own N-gauge model train set in my spare tatami room. Check it out! Perhaps with enough time and money it might someday look something like this. If anyone knows of any good hobby shops, or used junk stores with model trains in Aomori prefecture please let me know!

JamieWOW! Thanks so much KS!!!
That's just the advice I was looking for! I'm definately going to check that store out next time I'm in Aomori. I also found a hobby shop in Hirosaki selling N-gauge trains, and a small one in Mutsu. I recently added a model of the train pictured above to my collection. I'm hoping to collect as many of the trains that pass through Noheji station as possible.

KS, I hope you leave comments on my site more often. You're always full of so much usefull information. Thanks again! :)
